I can’t shout out thanks enough to Jennifer Gonzalez at Cult of Pedagogy for her Jumpstart: A Technology Course for Thoughtful Educators — this course strengthened what I knew and introduced me to SO MUCH MORE! I highly recommend you consider taking this and also consider her Teacher’s Guide to Tech.

In fact, I liked doing the course so much I’m going to keep doing it — not the course — I have finished the course — see certificate below

— but addressing similar ideas and questions. As I just mentioned, there is plenty more edtech to talk about. For subsequent posts, I will choose one of the categories not yet covered and discuss it in some length.

The course had me do 10 posts in this blog — the first 10 I named for the modules reference the course instructions. I will name this post “Post 11: Engage the Gear” to continue Focus: Education Rocks!.

The gear will engage in Post 12 on makerspaces.
